I’ve always had a passion for numbers, but my real love is helping businesses grow. After a decade in banking, I know firsthand how your financial strategy can make or break a business.
When my husbands military service relocated us away from my corporate career, I decided to create something of my own—a business that helps fellow entrepreneurs gain the financial confidence they need to scale with ease.

Financial strategist, small business advocate—and someone who knows how to make every dollar count.
I grew up surrounded by generational farmers, where work ethic was currency and community mattered. That upbringing taught me that small businesses aren’t just businesses—they’re legacies, lifelines, and livelihoods. It’s why I care so deeply about helping business owners not just survive, but truly thrive.
Before founding Creger + Collective Financial, I spent a decade in banking and lending, underwriting and auditing thousands of loan applications. I learned what makes a business financially strong - and where things break down. That experience allows me to look beyond simple numbers and identify the patterns, risks, and opportunities often missed.

Valerie brings operational expertise, financial insight, and a steady hand to the Creger + Collective Financial team.
Her foundation was built in her family's insurance firm, where she developed sharp attention to detail and a strong instinct for problem-solving. Before joining the team, she served as Operations Manager for a Honolulu-based helicopter company—managing daily operations, supporting financial processes, and navigating FAA regulations. That's actually where she first found Creger + Collective Financial, as a client looking for support with the company's financial systems.
What started as a client relationship quickly became something more. Valerie and Angelina aligned immediately—in how they work, how they communicate, and the level of care they believe clients deserve.
As a military spouse who supported her husband through a 26-year Navy career, Valerie knows how to adapt, show up, and get things done. She has a way of stepping into complex situations and making them feel manageable—for the team and for clients.
